Our recent partnership with this electronic product development consultancy based in the UK gave us a deeper insight into the telematics industry. We took part in the software development and design of black boxes usually used for young drivers to ensure and monitor their driving habits. This involves using Global Positioning System (GPS) with Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) combined with the Inertial Measurement Units (IMU) data (accelerometer and gyro) to ascertain start and end of journeys in addition to detecting an impact e.g. any accidents whilst driving.
After many years in their industry, we helped this client in building the next generation innovative wearable devices that use wireless technologies to facilitate globally accessible obstetric services in the home and hospital. Design of the automatic test equipment from test hardware to user interface software control used at the manufacturing site. Implemented codes and designs compliance with the FDA, ISO 13485 and MISRA C/C++ standards.
A global leader in the design and manufacture of smart electricity and gas metering across the world, we joined hands with the EMEA research and development firmware development team to design and develop the Electricity Smart Metering Equipment devices compliant with the Great Britain Companion Specification (GBCS) and the Smart Metering Equipment Technical Specifications (SMETS) for the UK Energy market. From the metrology layer, energy consumption profiles/tariffs, ZigBee communications to the UI interfaces, we helped to design, code and implement these functions with the latest cryptographic approach assured to pass all CPA evaluations set out by the various security agencies.
We are pleased to have worked with the World's leading Tyre Pressure and Monitoring Systems with direct clients such as BMW and Mercedes Benz on there latest Low-Power Wireless TPMS devices. Using technologies such as the latest IoT Thread Network communication protocol coupled with the traditional automotive CAN Bus communication interfaces, we were able to develop and design a system of new standalone low-power Tyre pressure monitoring systems able to monitor the tyre pressure, tempearture and bearing health of the wheels in a motor vehicle.
Our work with this world-renowned design company known for there eye-catching design concepts and long-standing expertise within the field of electronics and mechanical design has again proven our confidence in taking on new consumer devices. With most recent works focused around a consumer networked vaping device, we are pleased to be part of the DCA Design family.
Our in-house mobile application project called RIPA Watch which offers premium smartphone-based Identity Document Validation Technology (IDVT) service to event organizers by using machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) to scan, manage, validate and verify Identity documents automatically is a testament to our Software as a Service (SaaS) capabilities within the mobile security world. 100% Software-based means organizers can use the service anywhere without the need for an extra physical device.
